Storage of containers for transporting disaster waste at the former Sakae Plant in Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau
The Ministry of the Environment has requested that 47 containers be stored in the former Sakae Plant in Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau (1570-1 Kamigo-cho, Sakae-ku) in Yokohama City.
The containers were used by Rikuzentakata City, Ofunato City, and Kamaishi City in Iwate Prefecture for wide-area treatment of disaster waste generated in Great East Japan Earthquake, and are washed, repainted, and stored in empty state.
