Water supply ICT information liaison meeting

In order to promote the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in water supply business, City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau established a water ICT information liaison meeting in cooperation with Water Works Bureau, Tokyo and Water Works Bureau, Osaka.

• Individual and common issues of each water utility are posted on the platform (common homepage)

• This information liaison meeting was established as a place to provide information on new technologies such as ICT, and is not a place to decide on the introduction of technology.
• Consideration and adoption of technology will be determined by each business entity.

Promote the use and dissemination of new technologies such as ICT in water supply business

• Economies of scale through joint transmission of large-scale water utilities (excavation of potential technologies)
• We collect information on new technologies from a wide range of industries in addition to the water supply industry.
