- On behalf of the Mayors' Association of Designated City, we made an urgent request to the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Shima Muradai, Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, "COVID-19 infection's response (reducing the burden on health centers)." In light of the tightening of health center operations due to the spread of the Omicron variant, we call on active epidemiological surveys and medical treatment support to those at high risk of severe illness.
