Attended the national pilgrimage exchange meeting on environmental policies held by the Deputy Minister of the Environment Ooka held at the Kanagawa Prefectural Office, and exchanged opinions with local governments, organizations, companies, universities, and other people working on regional decarbonization in the prefecture.
After Deputy Minister Ooka explained the efforts of the Ministry of the Environment, Yokohama City introduced initiatives in the Minato Mirai 21 District, which was selected as a "decarbonized pre-decarbonized area," and expressed expectations for its role as a top runner in decarbonization.
In order to realize a decarbonized society, we will continue to strengthen cooperation with the national government, other cities, and all actors, and build a large city model unique to Yokohama.
