Along with Chairman Shimizu Yokohama City Council, on behalf of 20 designated cities nationwide, we made proposals to Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Shimamura regarding national policies and budgets, including the establishment of a unified national medical expenses subsidy program for child medical expenses and the transfer of administrative and authority related to infectious disease control to designated cities.
Going forward, we will continue to work closely with the national government and other designated cities to fulfill our requests.
