To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the friendship city tie-up between Yokohama and Shanghai, we welcomed Deputy Mayor Chen Jie of Shanghai. For half a century, we have deepened our relationship with Shanghai in a wide range of fields.
With Mayor Jinzoe, we looked back on exchange projects such as the Shanghai Week co-hosted by the two cities this year and the next-generation exchange "High School Student Online Exchange Meeting", and discussed further strengthening cooperation for the development of the two cities.
At the welcome ceremony, Mayor Jinzoe said, "I would like to continue to deepen exchanges and contribute more to the economic development of both cities and the happiness of citizens."
I hope that the friendship exchange between the two cities will continue in the next 50 years.
