We visited the 14th Tanabata Lantern Festival held in Seya Ward and gave a greeting at the opening lighting ceremony.
Approximately 900 handmade lanterns lined up from Mitsukyo Station to nagayamon Park, and in a fantastic atmosphere, I felt the power of many visitors and cheered me up.
This time, it was held as a prayer for the reconstruction of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and the warm feelings of everyone wishing for a quick recovery of the Noto Peninsula illuminated the town.
