We held a send-off party between the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries East Rigid Baseball Club and the ENEOS Baseball Club, who participated in the 95th Urban Competition Baseball Tournament (hosted by the Japan Baseball Federation and the Mainichi Shimbun) as representatives of Yokohama City.
At the send-off party, both baseball teams talked about their enthusiasm for the tournament, and I also gave words of encouragement.
The tournament will be held at Tokyo Dome from Friday, July 19 to Tuesday, July 30.
With the glorious black lion flag in hand, I look forward to being returned to Yokohama.
