A company in Yokohama donated masks to African countries.

In response to the rapid increase in the number of infected person in COVID-19 infection in Africa, Shinsei Shoji Co., Ltd. (Representative Director of Onweei), Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama, offered to donate 10,000 masks to help prevent infection in Africa.
The Japan-Africa Friendship League (Chairman: Yokohama City Council SATO Hirofumi) mediated the donation to the IFE Foundation (director: former Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to Japan), and a ceremony was held at the Yokohama City Council BuildingYokohama City Council on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Masks are sent to African countries through the IFE Foundation and used locally.
