In Yokohama City Council, Yokohama municipal high school students visit City Counsil to foster the ability of the younger generation to participate in politics.
On Friday, December 24, 2021, 22 students (Sakuragaoka, Tozuka (all day and regular), East, South, Yokohama Science Frontier, Minato Sogo) visited Yokohama City Council and exchanged views with four city council members (Yokoyama (Isamu), Tanaka, Kiuchi, and Kawaji).
Students who discussed the future of Yokohama and global issues, such as the SDGs, together with members of the Diet, commented, "It was an opportunity to think more deeply about politics."
