Following the 7th African Development Conference held in Yokohama (August 28-30, 2018), Prime Minister Amadu Gon Kri Bali of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire visited Yokohama to attend the conference.
On August 27, Prime Minister Chris Bali was invited in Yokohama City Council to give a speech at the plenary hall on the theme of the Seventh Conference on African Development, "Africa and Yokohama, together with overflowing power." elementary school student, a sixth-year student at Sakuragaoka Elementary School in Yokohama, who had an exchange with the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire in one school and one country, attended the speech.
