The Adult Guardianship System is a familiar mechanism that provides legal and living support so that inadequate judgment skills do not infringe on property or impair human dignity.
There are two adult guardianship systems: the statutory guardianship system and the voluntary guardianship system. There are three types of statutory guardianship systems: guardianship, custody, and assistance, and a family court decides according to the individual's judgment ability.

<1. Legal guardianship system>
On behalf of those who have lost their ability to judge and are unable to contract on their own, guardians perform legal acts such as deposits and savings, management of pension, payment of insurance premiums, contracts for welfare services, and contracts for admission and hospitalization.
The contents of the guardian vary depending on the type, but the legal authority is the right of consent and cancellation (the authority to cancel the legal act of the person performed without the consent of the guardian, etc.) and the right of representation (the guardian, etc.) You are given the authority to perform legal acts on your behalf).
<2. Voluntary guardianship system>
In preparation for a decline in your ability to judge, decide in advance what you want to support and the person who asks for support in a contract based on a voluntary guardianship contract. In the future, when the judgment ability declines, if a voluntary guardian is appointed in the family court, the work of the voluntary guardian will begin and receive the desired support.
