Overview of Aoba Ward Residents' Meeting (Activities ended in 2023)

　Inhabitant of a ward meeting is place of mutual discussion that inhabitants of a ward voluntarily and independently organize and operate, "I want to improve their town with their own hands." The term of office is two years, and the composition of committee members is generally recommended by Neighborhood Association and Neighborhood Associations, recommended by various organizations and public offerings. Inhabitant of a ward meeting is intended to discuss each other from the viewpoint of imminent civic life, share local consensus building and problem that area has, and push forward town development.

　We hold "Gathering of Aoba inhabitants" and provide place where inhabitants of a ward participate freely and talk. In addition, we hold open lectures and symposiums several times a year and discuss familiar themes of inhabitants of a ward, such as child care and town development, with inhabitants of a ward. Opinions and requests issued at "Gathering of inhabitants of a ward" and symposiums will be compiled at the inhabitant of a ward meeting and suggested that they be reflected in municipal administration.
