Asahi Ward Bright Election Promotion Council

It is a private organization that works with the aim of clean elections without fraud and participation in total voting, and is set up in prefectures and municipalities nationwide. In Yokohama-shi, bright election promotion councils are set up in city and 18 wards respectively.
At the Asahi Ward Bright Election Promotion Council, bright election promotion members selected from areas and groups in the ward are encouraged to participate in voting on the streets during elections and to participate in inhabitants' festivals.

Awareness-raising activities can be broadly divided into two categories: "election enlightenment" conducted just before the election and "always enlightenment" conducted on a daily basis.

At the time of the election, members of the promotion will actually educate on the streets of Futamatagawa Station, Tsurugamine Station, Kibogaoka Station, Minami Mankigahara Station, etc. for the purpose of disseminating the voting day and banning donations.
