Shimin-no-Mori

"Citizen's Forest" was established by Yokohama City ahead of the rest of the country since 1971 to protect the decreasing greenery. All forests are maintained that make use of nature, and normal management is performed by the Citizens' Forest Protection Association.
※There are no parking lots, so please use public transportation.

Facing the Nakahara Kaido and next to Oiwake Citizen's Forest, this forest makes you feel the scenery of your nostalgic hometown.
You can enjoy the babbling of forests and brooks that spread around the Plaza of the Sun, and in the spring you can see the buds of acorn under the coppice forest.

Yasashicho, Asahi-ku
