What is the flood hazard map for?

In recent years, large-scale floods have occurred in various parts of the country due to typhoon landings and record heavy rains, the largest number of observation history. In response to this, the Flood Control Law was revised in 2015.
As a result of the revision of the law, the flood hazard map was created and publicized for the largest flood that could have a larger scale of rain than previously announced.
The purpose of this hazard map is to encourage everyone to deepen their knowledge of storms and floods and lead to smooth and quick evacuation.
