Greening Regional System
1.Area targeted for designation (city planning decision)
Designated area map of greening area
Greening areas are designated as the entire residential restricted areas and commercial restricted areas (excluding harbor areas).
Residential use area (yellow-green in the figure on the right):
Type 1 low-rise residential area, Type 2 low-rise residential area, Type 1 middle-high-rise residential area,
Type 2 middle-high-rise residential area, Type 1 residential area, Type 2 residential area, semi-residential area
Commercial restricted zone (pink in the figure on the right):
Commercial areas, neighboring commercial areas
※Please use the administrative map information provision system "i-Mappie" to confirm the greening area.
2.Minimum of greening rate (city planning decision)
The minimum greening rate of the area is as follows.

3.Scale of site area subject to regulation of greening rate (the regulations about Yokohama-shi greening area)
The target building area is more than 500 square meters.

5.Violation measures in greening areas
In greening areas, those who maintain buildings in conservation are obliged to maintain and maintain greening facilities that exceed the minimum greening rate. (Urban Green Space Law, Ordinance on Greening Areas in Yokohama City)
In Yokohama City, we carry out patrols on buildings for which a greening rate conformity certificate has been issued, and we carry out violations countermeasures such as instructing them to correct them if violations are confirmed.
