About Yokohama Green Power Procurement System

In order to reduce the environmental burden associated with power generation as much as possible, Yokohama City operates the Yokohama City Green Power Procurement System, which sets environmental conditions that would lead to efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in bidding on power supply and demand contracts.

　　　Retailers wishing to receive a power supply contract ordered by the department in charge of the city facility submit a report using the electronic application system.

This is a system that evaluates the status of environmental considerations in the power supply business of retail electricity companies based on "environmental considerations evaluation items", and a company that meets certain standards has contract qualifications with Motoichi .

All electricity procurement (all electricity procurement ordered by Yokohama City Hall)

(Applicable to electricity procurement contracted on or after September 30, 2019)

Retail electricity companies with a total of 50 or more evaluation points calculated based on the “Environmental Consideration Evaluation Standards”

(If contract qualifications are determined separately, such as "Yokohama City General Competitive Bidding Participation Qualification", they shall comply with the rules.)

Companies wishing to receive a power supply contract ordered by Yokohama City Hall must submit a report on environmental considerations to the Zero Carbon and GREEN×EXPO Promotion Bureau Decarbonization Management Division in Yokohama within the specified period.
After confirming contents such as reports in Yokohama-shi green power procurement Exploratory Committee, we judge evaluation point of each company and notify each company of the judgment result and release on this page.

• Method of submission (Flow from preparation to evaluation)

We submit in "Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site)".

①Perform "new registration of user" as "business" (if you have already registered, you do not need to register again).

②Log in to the "Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System".

③Select "Procedure for Business Operators" and enter "Green Power" in "Keyword Search".

④Display and click the "Report on Environmentally Friendly Evaluation Items Pertaining to the Yokohama Green Power Procurement System".

⑤Download “[Form 1] Report on Environmentally Conscious Evaluation Items” in the “Application Form / Documents” and save it on a PC.

　※It is the same as the data that can be downloaded in the "Submissions" above.

⑥Enter required items in the download data and complete and save the “[Form 1] Environmentally Conscious Evaluation Items Report”.

⑦On the "Details" screen of the "Report on Environmentally Friendly Evaluation Items Related to the Yokohama Green Power Procurement System" of the electronic application system, click "Go to Next" and move to the application screen.

⑧Select "File to upload", upload the "[Form 1]" created above, and click "Next" to complete the application.

⑨When the evaluation score is determined, a "Notice Based on the Yokohama Green Power Procurement Implementation Guidelines" will be sent to the e-mail address registered in the electronic application system.
