About conclusion of agreement with building-related organization about cooperation at the time of earthquake disaster

Last updated on January 27, 2025.

On January 15, 2013, we concluded an "Agreement on Emergency Support for Damaged Buildings at the Time of earthquake disaster" with three city building-related organizations.

At the time of Great East Japan Earthquake, many citizens in Yokohama asked me about whether it would be dangerous to continue living as it is and how to repair it.
In order to respond to these requests as soon as possible, Motoichi concluded an agreement with building-related organizations in the city in advance.
In this way, after the earthquake, a free building consultation desk will be promptly set up in a familiar place for citizens, such as the ward office, to secure the security of citizens and lead to early reconstruction.
(* In addition to the three organizations that concluded the agreement on January 15, 2013, we plan to conclude a new agreement with one organization on May 21.)
