Certification system based on the Building Energy Conservation Law
Outline of the certification system of the Building Energy Conservation Law
By receiving "authorization of building energy consumption performance improvement plan" based on "law about improvement of energy consumption performance of building", we can receive exception (※) of floor area ratio.
※Of the floor area required for the energy consumption performance improvement plan, those specified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as exceeding the floor area of ordinary buildings (outside site)

| Certification criteria | Induction standards (standards superior to energy consumption performance standards) |
Subject to certification | Either the whole building, the entire housing part of the complex building, or the entire non-residential part of the complex building |
| Date of certification | Before construction of new construction, extension and renovation, etc. |
| Applicant | Building owners, etc. |
