Trial of management fee correction on site that contributes to City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau heat stroke countermeasures (post-calculated)

In consideration of recent climate conditions such as hot summer days, we have decided to revise the rate of management fee on site for expenses related to heat stroke countermeasures at construction sites, starting with construction contracts with contract dates after April 1, 2024.

Work subject to trial

In this trial, if any of the following applies to all port-related civil engineering works, it will be the trial target work.
However, construction of the entire jurisdiction is not covered.

Scope of application

For construction work whose contract date is after April 1, 2024, it is assumed that the contractor wishes to compensate for expenses.

Subject works

The main type of construction will be outdoor work. In addition, even if the main construction type is indoor work, it can be targeted if there is no air conditioning equipment and the indoor environment is recognized as equivalent to outdoor.
In addition, construction including factory production work shall be excluded from the target period.
