Outline of the program:

Since the opening of the port, Yokohama City has built a network with overseas cities and institutions, and has been vigorously developing its own local government diplomacy by taking advantage of the achievements of international cooperation so far. Yokohama City is promoting various international cooperation projects with the aim of realizing "Yokohama, which grows with the world."
One of these projects is "International Technical Cooperation and Y-PORT Project through Public-Private Partnerships Utilizing Yokohama's Resources and Technology," which started in January 2011 to support the resolution of urban issues in emerging countries and other countries and support overseas expansion of companies in Yokohama City.
In the program, we focused on the initiatives of this Y-PORT project. Including the pattern of the 5th Asia Smart City Conference held on November 18, last year, the Da Nang Urban Development Forum was held in Da Nang, Vietnam in late December, and interviewed officials from the city of Yokohama, Da Nang, as well as corporate representatives from Yokohama.
