　Garden Necklace Yokohama offers several walking courses where you can enjoy the view of Yokohama while watching the flowers. The official guidebook introduces various walking courses in various parts of the city, including the Yamashita / Kannai area, the Minato Mirai / Basyamichi area, and the Shin-Yokohama area. Both are easy promenades that can be walked in about 30 minutes to 1 hour. This time, I went around a walking course in the Motomachi Yamate area.

　Yokohama's representative park opened in 1930 (Showa 5). It was built by reclaiming debris from the Great Kanto Earthquake. You can enjoy the transition of cherry blossoms, tulips, roses and spring flowers along with the blue sky, the sea, and the scenery of the port unique to Yokohama. In the season when the color of the sky is beautiful, taking a walk surrounded by flowers makes you feel excited.

　This year, using AI cameras in the "Future Rose Garden", you can now check the congestion status in the garden during the Garden Necklace Yokohama 2023 on the website. It will be updated every 10 minutes, so be sure to check it out when you visit and enjoy the roses slowly.

　A park with beautiful views of the harbor spreading below observation deck and Yokohama Bay Bridge. The rose garden in the park was released in 1991 to commemorate the establishment of the city flower "rose". Since this area was a foreign settlement at the time of the opening of the port, you can enjoy the tasteful harmony of the Western-style building and roses.

　A green park in Yamate-District. There are Yamate 234 Ban-Kan, Ehrismann Residence and Berrick Hall in the Yamatenishi Western-style building, and it is a spot full of exotic atmosphere. The inside of the building was cool, and the spacious mansion provided healing fatigue.
　You can visit the facility for free, so why not stop by?

　In this area, the Italian Consulate was set up from 1880 (Meiji 13) to 1886 (Meiji 19), so it is called "Mt. Italy".
　It is a park designed with geometrically arranged water and flower beds, imitating the garden style seen in Italy.
　It has been renewed under the theme of "The Garden of Roses and Shining Fountains" and has become a new rose attraction.

　The height difference was relatively small, and I arrived at Ishikawacho Station in about an hour and 30 minutes.
　It was a good exercise to walk comfortably in the refreshing breeze in the sweaty cheerfulness.
　At the beginning of the shoot, it was a beautiful time for cherry blossoms, but the relay of tulips, roses and flowers will continue.

　The Garden Necklace Yokohama 2023 holds Yokohama Rose Week from May 3 (Wednesday / holiday) to Sunday, June 11.
　A good season when the early summer sunshine produces flowers brilliantly. Please take a walk to enjoy the beautifully blooming flowers while enjoying the scent of the city's flower "rose".

　This year, with the cooperation of many organizations and companies, we are conducting “Flowering Rally”.
　Get electronic stamps around spots where you can enjoy flowers and spots where you can eat delicious gourmet. If you collect stamps, you will win meal tickets and hotel accommodation tickets by lottery.
　There are stamp points in 140 places (as of April 20) including British House Yokohama.

　It was built in 1937 (Showa 37) as the official residence of the British Consul General. It is a two-story reinforced concrete building with a large site and construction scale, and was ranked high among the consular residences in East Asia.
　In the English rose garden in front of the museum, seasonal flowers are blooming pretty. In May, about 150 species and 800 roses are in full bloom.
