In 2014, Yokohama City, Senshu City (China), and Gwangju Metropolitan City (Korea), which were both selected as the first cities in the “East Asian Cultural City” project started as a national project in Japan, China and Korea. Has concluded the East Asian Cultural City Friendship and Cooperation City Agreement, and has been conducting inter-city exchanges through cultural arts since 2015.
This year, students from three cities held online music making workshops. The results were presented at the Yokohama Sound Festival 2022.
