Inundation measures for pre-disaster prevention utilizing data will start! Development of Yokohama City Sewerage Inundation Countermeasures Plan

In recent years, rainfall has been increasing due to the effects of climate change, and as the flood damage​ becomes more severe and frequent, it will become increasingly important in the future to ensure a safe and secure life for citizens of Yokohama.
Therefore, with the aim of further promoting the development of a resilient city that is resistant to rain based on the progress of inundation countermeasures so far and the effects of climate change, the sewerage system will be used in the future, such as the goals of inundation countermeasures by sewerage and how to proceed with countermeasures. We devised "Yokohama-shi sewer inundation measures plan" which gathered measures newly.
