We will hold Yokohama Blue Carbon Wakame Harvest Event!

　Since fiscal 2011, Yokohama City has been working on the Yokohama Blue Carbon, a global warming countermeasure project that utilizes marine resources. As part of the enlightenment of this project, we will hold an event where children can experience the harvest of Wakame at Umi Farm, an aquarium in Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, Yokohama.
　Children can experience "sea education" by learning about how wakame grows and how marine life absorbs greenhouse gases.
　In addition to the venue, Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, this event will be held with the cooperation of the soccer J-League club Yokohama FC.
