To support decarbonization management! Create decarbonization guidelines for small and medium-sized enterprises

In fiscal 2021, Yokohama City conducted a "Survey on Decarbonization and SDGs Awareness" targeting 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses in the city to support decarbonization in the management and business activities of small and medium-sized businesses, which account for more than 99% of the city's businesses (response rate: 22%). As a result, about 60% of the respondents answered that they need to work on it, but have not yet worked on it, and many of them cited "lack of knowledge and know-how" as issues. Based on this situation, we have created the "Decarbonization Guidelines for Small and Medium Enterprises in the City" with the aim of providing small and medium-sized enterprises with an opportunity to take the "first step" for decarbonization management.
In the future, we will utilize these guidelines to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the city on various occasions in cooperation with the Yokohama Corporate Management Support Foundation (IDEC Yokohama) and the Yokohama SDGs Design Center.
