The Sagami kite, which is said to have a history of 400 years in Izumi Ward, is a traditional culture that prays for the healthy growth of children and the rich harvest of five grains during the festival of Dango.
This year, we will hold the 14th Izumi Sagami Kite Flying Party to celebrate the Dango Festival.
This year, the venue was changed from “rice fields near Tenno Moriizumi Park” to “Fukaya Communication Center Site Central Plaza”.
We fly kites in a larger space. During the period before the kite flying party, kites produced at the ward office on the first floor of the ward office will also be exhibited.
