"Yokohama City Environmental Impact Assessment Technology Guidelines" and "Yokohama City Environmental Consideration Guidelines" have been revised.

　In the environmental impact assessment (environmental assessment), businesses that intend to carry out large-scale projects that may have a significant impact on the environment conduct surveys, predictions, and evaluations in advance on the impact of the project. This is a system that examines appropriate environmental conservation measures, etc. through procedures such as publishing the results, and reflects them in business plans.

　In light of major changes in social needs and environmental policies, such as moves toward decarbonization, we revised the "Technical Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment" (hereinafter referred to as "Technical Guidelines") for the first time since the formulation in 2011. In addition, the “Yokohama City Environmental Consideration Guidelines” (hereinafter referred to as “Consideration Guidelines”) has been revised to reflect the purpose of the revision of the technical guidelines.
