In Yokohama City, as part of the Oyako More Smile Package, a policy package that creates “comfort to feel” for child-rearing and creates a daily smile for parents and children, we will implement the “experimental project,” which aims to create an environment where children can spend time in the morning before elementary school starts.
The experimental project will start at two schools, Utsukushigaoka Elementary School and Utsukushigaoka Higashi Elementary School, located in the area around Utsukushigaoka, Aoba-ku Park, a model district for promoting child-rearing.
In a dual-income family, we aim to eliminate the anxiety of parents and children by creating an option for a place to stay in the morning when parents need to go to work earlier than their children.
