We carried out "questionnaire about discipline and corporal punishment for children" targeting at Yokohama citizens.
In adult surveys, an increasing number of people thought that corporal punishment should never be done compared to the results of the 2022 survey.
We will continue to work on strengthening public relations enlightenment and holding lectures for citizens and caregivers in order to further promote support centered on children and child care that does not depend on corporal punishment.
