Kohoku Ward formulated the Second Kohoku Ward Reading Activity Promotion Target in October to promote reading activities in accordance with the regional characteristics of the city.
One of these goals is "promotion of reading activities according to the growth of children", and we will work to promote reading activities centered on school libraries. .
In order to further promote reading activities for elementary and junior high school students, we will present a message board that can introduce recommended books selected by teachers and elementary school studenｔ students to all public elementary and junior high schools in the city. In addition, we will distribute a recommended book introduction card selected by the librarian of the Kohoku Library. Each of the representative elementary and junior high schools will hold a presentation ceremony from Director General.
