At the 10th Asia Smart City Conference held in October this year, Yokohama City announced for the first time VLR (spontaneous Local Government Review), an international report on the SDGs initiatives and progress of local governments. The VLR has been accepted by the United Nations and published on the website.
As a future city of SDGs selected by the Japanese government, Yokohama City will continue to make continuous efforts to use this VLR as a new starting point for further promotion of the SDGs.
