Yokohama City University and Yokohama City University will hold an online lecture by Ambassador Klemens von Gotze, Ambassador of Germany to Japan on Thursday, December 16. In this lecture, the ambassador will talk about "German and Japan: Partners in Overcoming the Challenges of the 21st Century" (German and Japan: as a partner to overcome the challenges of the 21st century together).
Yokohama City University holds an exchange program with Gathee University in Frankfurt, Germany, to send students to each other and deepen exchanges. Since 2021 marks the 160th anniversary of Japan-Germany exchange and the 10th anniversary of the partnership between Yokohama and Frankfurt, this lecture will be held as part of the commemorative project.
