In City of Yokohama, Transportation Bureau, in collaboration with related companies, we will start a demonstration test of fare collection using Visa Touch Payment on some municipal bus routes.
In this demonstration experiment, a device that can use Visa's touch payment will be installed inside the car, and bus fares will be collected using a card that supports touch payment that customers have.
This is the first attempt to collect fares by Visa's touch payment on a route bus operating in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
