In April, Daikoku Wharf, the largest vehicle handling base in East Japan, started operation of an automobile terminal that applied a loan system based on the revision of the Port Facilities Ordinance, and improved the quay and cargo handling area to enable 11 large-sized vehicles to arrive at the same time.
ZIM INTEGRATED SHIPPING SERVICES LTD., an Israeli shipping company, has decided to open a new car carrier service route for Central and South America based on Daikoku Wharf.
Yokohama City and Yokohama Port Wharf Co., Ltd., the designated manager, presented a welcome visit and souvenir to commemorate the arrival of the vessel, which was introduced on a new route on May 1, 2022 (Sun).
