Children from Municipal Elementary Schools and others will appreciate classical ballet ~ 2022 "The World of Mental Education Ballet" ~

　In Yokohama City, in order to foster the qualities and abilities of children to live richly, we are promoting initiatives to increase and enhance opportunities for children to come into contact with real culture and art.
　One of the initiatives, “The World of Mental Education Ballet,” is a classic ballet appreciation party that has been held for fourth graders since 2019. By appreciating the ballet, you will learn how to appreciate the ballet and manners while improving your sensitivity to art and fully enjoying the rich expressiveness of the ballet.
　This year, the event will be held in November, with 111 schools and about 9,600 elementary school studenｔ and others participating. The performance group will be the "Tokyo Ballet Dan", and will perform a ballet for children "Don Quijote's Dream", which is easy to understand for children who appreciate ballet for the first time.
