Let's prepare for missing elderly people with smartphones

Sakae Ward has implemented the Sakae Ward SOS Network Project for Elderly People with Dementia (“SOS Network”) and is working to create a system that allows early contact with family members by identifying personal information if they are missing. Many missing cases have occurred in Sakae Ward, but by utilizing information from the SOS network, many elderly people can return to their families at an early stage.
In April 2024, Sakae Ward began applying for registration online. Some people who have already applied have said, "The procedure was easy" and "It is convenient to do without going to the ward office."
