The situation surrounding waste administration has changed with the times, and it is necessary to respond to various issues such as the achievement of the SDGs and the realization of a decarbonized society.
In order to steadily respond to these changes, Yokohama City is considering the formulation of a new "Yokohama City General Waste Treatment Basic Plan".
Therefore, in order to obtain various opinions from academic experts, citizens, and businesses, in December 2021, the Yokohama City Council for Promotion of Waste Reduction and Recycling in December 2021 consulted the "Waste Measures for Achievement of SDGs and Realization of a Decarbonized Society" and received a report today after discussions at the Council.
