With the reduction of the age of suffrage and adult age, it is urgently necessary for younger generations aged 18 and over to deepen their understanding of the local community, foster the ability to participate in society and politics, and sovereign consciousness. .
In order to meet these social needs, we will conduct university student internships between Yokohama City Council City Council Bureau and Yokohama City University to improve occupational awareness and sovereign awareness through work experience and exchange of opinions with city council members.
