Based on the provisions of Article 111, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Public Office Election Law, following the resignation of Representative Daisuke Yusa (Liberal Democratic Party Minami Ward) pursuant to Article 126 of the Local Autonomy Law on December 20, 2024, Chairman Taro Suzuki notified the Yokohama City Election Commission that a vacancy has occurred in city council members.
