Many fires in major earthquake in recent years are said to be caused by electric fires (electric fires). A seismic breaker is an effective device that detects a large shaking of an earthquake, automatically shuts off the supply of electricity, and prevents an electric fire.
In Yokohama City, we support the purchase and installation of seismic breakers (simple types) for people living in areas subject to the "Earthquake Fire Prevention Policy in the Yokohama City Earthquake Disaster Prevention Strategy".
The initial application period was limited to November 30, 2020, but we are pleased to announce that it will be extended to January 29, 2021.
