At the request of the Japan Water Works Association, City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau has provided emergency restoration of water supply and emergency water supply assistance to Wajima City and Shiga Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, which were severely damaged by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
In Shiga-cho, in all districts by March 2, and in Wajima-shi, difficult-to-recovery districts ※With the exception of water outages, City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau completed emergency support activities.
In the future, we will continue to provide necessary support upon request.
※ Locations where roads have not been restored due to landslides, etc.
