In the renovation of public buildings, Yokohama City is actively introducing the ESCO Project, which is capable of saving energy and reducing the management fee while utilizing private know-how.
Water Works Bureau has set "introduction of high-efficiency lighting such as LEDs" as the main business of "Environmentally Friendly Water Supply" in its medium-term management plan, and is recruiting ESCO business proposers for approximately 7,400 lighting and other equipment at 66 facilities including water purification plants, pumping stations and water supply offices!
