Based on the "Guidelines for Town Development Utilizing History" enforced in 1988, Yokohama City has certified modern architecture, Western-style buildings, old folk house and civil engineering heritage as Yokohama City Certified Historic buildings.
This time, we have newly certified the Western-style building "Yamate 237th Building", which was built in the early Showa era as a housing for foreigners.
