About United Nations WFP Association "Myanmar Earthquake Emergency Food Support Fundraising"

　The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) has established a Japan office in Yokohama to support people in humanitarian crisis due to armed conflicts, wars, earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters. In cooperation with the United Nations WFP, Yokohama City is working to contribute to world peace and solve global issues.

　On Friday, March 28, 2025, the United Nations World Food Program WFP Association, a certified NPO to quickly support areas affected by the magnitude 7.7 earthquake in central Myanmar, started March 29, 2025.
