Foreign Awareness Survey

　The foreign population in Yokohama exceeded 120,000 at the end of May 2024. While further increase is expected, we conducted the "Yokohama City Foreign Awareness Survey" with the aim of grasping the living consciousness and needs of foreigners living in the city and utilizing it as basic data for municipal administration and policy planning. . The survey was conducted by anonymous mail, targeting 5,000 foreign residents living in the city aged 18 and over, randomly selected from the Basic Resident Register, and 1,512 responses (recovery rate: 30.2%) were obtained by mail or the Internet.
