Agreement on Friendship and Exchange with Showa Village
The relationship between Yokohama City and Showa Village has been as follows since Yokohama City opened "Yokohama City Shonen Nature House Akagi Rinkan Gakuen" (formerly "Yokohama City Mount Akagi Citizen Outdoor Activity Center") in 1972. Exchanges centered on children continue.

Agreement on Friendship and Exchange between Yokohama City and Showa Village
Yokohama City and Showa Village have been focusing on children since the establishment of the Yokohama City Mount Akagi Citizen Outdoor Activity Center (currently the Yokohama City Shonen Nature House Akagi Rinkan Gakuen) in Showa Village in 1972. We have visited each other for a long time and actively cooperated in the event of an earthquake, and have deepened our bonds and continued various exchanges while respecting each other's climate and regional characteristics.
Based on the friendship that has been cultivated so far, Ryoichimura will deepen mutual understanding and friendship in the future, strive to revitalize the region through exchanges, contribute to each other's prosperity to happiness, We conclude an agreement on the following matters in order to carry out friendship exchanges.
- Both Ichimura will promote active exchanges between citizens and villagers, and strive to ensure sustainable friendship exchanges.
- Ryoichimura will cooperate in various fields such as environment, economy, agriculture, tourism, culture, sports, and strive to revitalize the region.
- Both Ichimura strives to bring each other's prosperity and happiness through mutual understanding.
