Security measures at Yokohama Port

Published the revised SOLAS Convention (Marine Safety Convention)! Safe Yokohama Port in preparation for international terrorism

 Until now, access to port facilities by anyone other than those involved has been prohibited, but from July 1, 2004, fences and gates have been installed on quays to strengthen security measures, and people other than port officials We have strengthened restrictions on entering and exit of vehicles.
 We ask for your understanding and cooperation to ensure the safety of the port.
 In addition, please refer to Port and Harbor Bureau waters management section (Phone: 045-671-7130, email: [email protected]) about security of international waters facilities.
 Green spaces such as Rinko Park (Seaside Park), the rooftop plaza of the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal, and Yokohama Port Symbol Tower are outside the restricted areas and can be used by citizens as before.
