Minato Oasis Yokohama Port

[Intent]
"Minato Oasis" promotes community development centered on Minato that contributes to regional revitalization through exchange of local residents and promotion of tourism.
For this reason, this is a system registered by the government as a facility where local initiatives are continuously conducted.
In order to respond to new needs, such as the rapidly increasing number of cruise visitors to Japan, this system was reviewed and implemented on February 1, 2017.
The Minato Oasis Management Guidelines have been newly formulated in Port and Harbor Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
As the first new registration based on this outline, Minato Oasis Yokohama Port, with the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal as its representative facility, has been established as the first new registration based on this outline.
It will be registered on February 16th.

[Overview]
At Yokohama Port, we will promote citizen exchange and sightseeing as an attractive waterside space, as well as convey the charm and enjoyment of cruises.
However, with the aim of contributing to the expansion of the cruise market in Japan, the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal, which is also a base for cruises.
We will work to create a lively atmosphere by holding various events and other events.
